  • Problem solving and goal setting assistance

  • Money management counseling

  • Work clothes, shoes, and tools needed for specific job

  • Housing assistance and Central Intake referrals

  • Incentives for continuous employment

  • GED classes

  • Job readiness classes covering:

    • Resume and cover letter assistance

    • Interview prep

    • Job search techniques and strategies

    • Professional dress and conduct

  • Personal hygiene kits

  • Weekly case management sessions

  • Identification documents such as birth certificates and DMV IDs

  • Resume assistance

  • Use of fax machine and copier for job search

  • Weekly job lists

  • Referrals for services not directly provided by OAR

  • Life Skills Groups such as:

    • Hidden Talents (peer discussion focused on individual participant’s hidden talents)

    • Life In 10 Minutes (writing based class in which participants write on a particular prompt for 10 minutes at a time)

  • Computer skills groups and access for job search

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy based groups such as:

    • Think About It

    • Who's On Your Bus

    • Anger Management
