How do I become an OAR client?
Step 1: Qualification
You must have an ADULT CRIMINAL CONVICTION (misdemeanor or felony). New clients must have been released from incarceration within the past six (6) months or be enrolled in a special program (The Healing Place, Drug Court, Rubicon.)

Step 2: Complete an Intake
Come to the OAR Central Office to complete a short intake with a case manager or volunteer to identify your service needs. No appointments necessary. We operate under on a first-come, first-serve basis.

When: Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
*New Intakes are completed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. We are able to take between 4 and 6 new intakes a day. If you come in after our limit has been met, you will be invited to fill out preliminary paperwork and attend orientation.
Step 3: Attend the OAR Orientation
After your intake, the case manager will sign you up for our OAR orientation class which is held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 am-12:00pm. This group will outline OAR services, hours of operation, and procedures and requirements. You only have to attend this group once, but it is mandatory for accessing other OAR services.
Step 4: Return to Meet with Your Case Manager
After you have attended Orientation, you will return to OAR and meet with your assigned a case manager, who will work with you by providing OAR services, connecting you to other resources so that you may achieve your desired goals. Again, we do not take appointments, case managers see clients on a first-come first-serve basis, please be patient.
